The Air Jordan 1 Retro High 'Virgil Abloh Archive Alaska' (AA3834-100) is the Virgil Abloh Archive's remake of the all-white Off-White Air Jordan 1 that released as a European exclusive in 2018. Released on 3 April 2026, it is the first global release from the Virgil Abloh Archive and changes the medial text from 'Off-White for Nike' to 'V.A.A. for Nike'.

Overview

The Virgil Abloh Archive (V.A.A.) carries the late designer's work forward, and this Air Jordan 1 is its first global release. The original white Off-White Air Jordan 1 followed the 'Chicago' colourway from The Ten and was sold only in Europe in 2018. Fans have since dubbed the white pair 'Alaska'.

The Virgil Abloh Archive Alaska follows Abloh's principle of showing how an object is built rather than hiding it. The upper is arctic white leather with tints of blue on the synthetic panels, an exposed foam tongue and a sewn-on Swoosh with an orange tab. Bold 'AIR' lettering runs across the midsole.

The tonal white build makes it an easy Air Jordan 1 to wear, working with denim, tailoring or neutral layers. For collectors of his Off-White work, it is the closest match to the 2018 European pair, with V.A.A. branding marking the new edition.
