The ASICS Gel-Kayano 12.1 'Silver Ice Blue' (1203A759-101) is a hybrid lifestyle runner that pairs the upper of the 2006 GEL-KAYANO 12 with the midsole tooling of the GEL-NIMBUS 17. Released in 2025 in Pure Silver/Ice Blue/Cream, it followed the model's 2024 Kith debut.

Overview

The GEL-KAYANO 12.1 first appeared through a Kith collaboration in 2024 before ASICS released it in its own colourways in 2025. It joins two archive models, the 2006 GEL-KAYANO 12 upper and the 2015 GEL-NIMBUS 17 sole.

The Gel-Kayano 12.1 Silver Ice Blue layers metallic silver synthetic overlays across a breathable open-mesh base, with Ice Blue accents through the upper and cream on the midsole. GEL inserts in the rearfoot and forefoot absorb impact, while FLUIDRIDE cushioning gives a smooth, responsive ride that the original 2006 tooling did not have.

The cool silver and blue palette reads equally well with denim, technical outerwear or tailoring. It suits anyone who wants mid-2000s ASICS running design with modern cushioning for daily wear.

Every pair is authenticated by hand at PUSHAS, so you can shop with confidence.

Key Highlights

• Hybrid Heritage Design: The 2006 GEL-KAYANO 12 upper on GEL-NIMBUS 17 midsole tooling.

• Metallic Tech-Runner Look: Silver overlays and Ice Blue accents over open mesh in Pure Silver/Ice Blue/Cream.

• Modern Cushioning: Rearfoot and forefoot GEL inserts work with FLUIDRIDE for everyday comfort.

• General Release: Released in 2025, after the model's 2024 debut through a Kith collaboration.
